The bowls are made using pottery traditional techniques. The local clay is prepared by hand before being wrapped in organic bases, then baked in an open oven and finally, the woven grass is sewn by women in the southern region of Lavumisa in Swaziland. Traditional basket weaving skills have been adapted to create this unique fusion of local materials.
